he can drink water now, but no solids until 6 months???

talked to my ped today because James has been eating enormous amounts lately.
he said to wait on solids until 6 months, which is obviously fine.
but he said i could give water???
didn't know i could do this?
is this a bad idea?
what do you ladies of this?

They only need water if its really hot and generally that's only for ff babies.

i tjink if you bf they dont need water at all as your body wotkd it all out for them. Water too soon can mess with their body

the only other time to give water is if theyre constipated, but they only need water to complement their solid meals, or if its really hot

Yup.... apparently BM is has high quants of water....especially the beginning bit i think x
