I received the call at 12 lunch time yesterday (Thursday) to say that I needed to be in fri morning at 8am to have baby. Straight after the call I started getting contractions about 10mins apart. Took 3 kids out for lunch thinking they were braxton hicks. At 4 they were stopping me in my tracks. Gave the hubby the I might be in labour call. Although he was on an important call so had to leave the message with a poor young lad to pass onto him. He didn't know what to say.
Phoned the Hospital to ask advice they said to come get checked just in case.
Went in I was having 3 contractions in 10mins. Some I didn't feel. Doctor tried to slow them so the planned section on the morning could continue. midwife said she thought whilst i was coping well that it all looked real. Doctor Did a quick check. I was 3cm dilated after just a couple of hours. Said this was to dangerous for me to progress any more.
Whipped straight into theatre and my little man joined us at 8.46 thursday night.
Thought this would be all calm and organised. Henley had other ideas. Born on the 13th June. The one day I asked not to have the section. Lol
He's 9lb 2 happy and healthy and we are so happy and in love. All my others have been late 41 and 42 weeks. Henley was born at 39 weeks.
