I'm 33 weeks today and because of a bicornuate uterus, I don't think there is enough room for the baby to go "top to bottom". At my scan last week (I have GD and the baby is around 5lb8oz already and is measuring 3 weeks ahead) the sonographer said the head was down near the cervix, but the body seems to be transverse with the shoulders on one side and the bum on the other.

I was just wondering if anyone else had this and what your labour/birth outcome was?

Thanks!

no experience hun, but didnt want to read and run

good luck!

hiya, i have a bicornuate uterus too. And im fairly sure my baby is in the same position... im having a scan on the 27th to check! I dont have any answers for the outcome but wanted to wish u good luck! :)

Hi Pixydust, my scan is on the same date as you! Is yours a complete bircornuate, or a partial? Mine unfortunately wasn't completely diagnosed before I got pregnant, but on doing lots of research on mine (I got copies of the MRI scans) I think it is more partial than complete, although the septum seems to be about half the length of the total uterus. Good luck to you too!

i actually dont know either as its only been picked up during ultrasounds and i've not had any MRI's but as far as i've been told it only "appears" to be partial (heart shaped). Good luck for the 27th... Thats also my birthday too ;) lol. Let me know how u get on! :)
