Headaches?

Hey girls - can someone please remind me what's ok to take for a headache as I'm going out of my mind here! I have Nurofen and a non-brand paracetomol - are either of them ok? Arrrghhh!

Yep paracetemol. Can't take Nurofen as it's got ibuprofen in it! So if I were you, depending on how bad your headache is, take some paracetemol and go to bed.

I checked with a pharacist a few weeks ago. Solphadine is ok too if you get an evil headache. the pain killer has to be paracetemol based adn only taken if totally necessary x

hey hun i can totaly relate to your headakes, i suffer them bad and before i got pg i had to take meds everday to control them well since being pg i cannot take them well i was doing good not getting them and the last 2 days i have had them today got anther one and the only thing i can take is vicodin its a narcotic pain killer the doctor says thats all i can take im on a monthly perscription due to a health problem so i took some of them today for the pain in my headake and its barrely helping and its hard to rest i got lots laundry to do . im gunna try water hope it will relive it some . wish you luck hun hope your headake goes away.

paracetomol is the only thing unfortunately...i suffered really bad with headaches over my left eye all through 1st tri but thankfully they have disappeared now...hope yours do too xx

I have been told by my parmacist that Paracetamol i fine. No more than 6 a day but. and if your head ache continues to see your doctor. I have been suffering bad from head aches since falling pregnant... not sure why but doctors says it is cause i sit in front of the computer all day at work and i am putting extra stress on my body and i dont drink enough water. So that is all to change soon...

I have been suffering headaches almost everyday now even though I have been drinking heaps of water. When I saw my specialist last week I mentioned this and they asked if paracetamol stopped it, then I said I hadn't taken any because I didn't feel comfortable with it. She then said that paracetamol is absolutely fine, they even give it to newborns who, for instance, might having bruising from the birth and she also said that by the time the drug gets to the baby, its a really insignificant amount.
