Healthcare Question for Ladies in the UK..

Hi there!

I moved to the UK about a year and a half ago to be with my hubby. I'm registered with my local GP but wondered what the process was when/if we do find out we're pregnant? In the US, I would go to my OB/GYN, but I don't think these offices really exist out here.. Do you go to your GP and then they refer you? How does the process work? Anything we should know?

Would greatly appreciate the help as I feel totally alone and clueless out here. Thank you!

Hi there, let your Dr know & they notify hospital & Midwife usually contacts you for your first apt, mine was at my Drs surgery
