I haven't tried one but I wouldn't - I don't like carriers where the newborn position is the cradle carry. I think it would be so easy to get that position dangerously wrong so I wouldn't even attempt it. IMO the best and safest position for a newborn is held securely upright.

This explains why - https://www.babywearingschool.com/babywearingsafety.htm I've had a quick look at the Heart2Heart instructions and I can't see anything about a properly supported upright position for a newborn, although it may be possible.

Instead, I would just go for a normal ring sling if you like the one-shoulder slings, or a stretchy or woven wrap, or an SSC or mei tai that is suitable from birth (I think most are).

ah good to know, thanks so much for your feedback - I was totally unaware that cradle positioning is unsafe. I poked around on the page and watched a video of it sorted in an upright position - so it looks like ill be able to carry LO safely with this sling in that manner.

thanks again :flower:

This style of sling becomes uncomfortable very quickly, a ring sling is much better xx
