heartbeat on sono?

Just curious how many weeks past lmp were u when you saw or heard hb on sono? Trying to decide when to schedule mine so I can at least see a hb

Vaginal US, HB should be visable by 7 weeks, with 6 weeks being about the earliest.

Adominal US, HB should be visable by 8 weeks, with 7 weeks being about the earliest.

I just had an abdominal scan a week and a bit ago. I thought I was 6+3 but bean measured 5+4 (2.8mm). Heart beat of 116bpm. Some people would not see the embryo this early. Perhaps 7 weeks is a safe bet, and would give a little margin for error if your dates were a bit out. It's really up to you though. Hope all goes well!

I had an abdominal scan at 7+4, got to see and hear the heartbeat @ 153 bpm

I saw it at 6+4, 113 bpm. They said it was early but they wanted it to be over 100. A week later it was up to 132 and a week after that up to 168 where it stayed for a while before dropping to a 148 ish average.

I would say 7 weeks would be a guarantee of a hb.
