Just thought I would Doppler baby as I have been intrigued to the position of baby as my MW said last week baby was feet down...

I just picked up heartbeat after panic and it was relly low down, almost on my pubic line but more over to the left...is this normal? google is not helping I can't find any info on it...

I am freaking out a little now!!

your fine, calm down :) finding th heartbeat lower is normal, im 27 weeks an my little girl has been head down since she was 20 weeks, the doctors have found her heartbeat low thru my whole thing an I asked if it was normal an he said yes, an not to worry

ohhh its just because I am so used to hearing it right near my belly button - do you think this means baby is head down? I need to go to bed and stop freaking out!

Thanks hun xxx

Whether baby is head down or not at 31wks doesnt necessarily mean baby is not going to move from that position.

Baby should be able to move freely still at this stage.

As long as you heard babies heartbeat somewhere thats all you need!:flower:

Still can't help worrying! It took me a few mins to find as I was looking in normal place!

Seems like that would be a good sign! Not sure why it worries you? But, I understand - I worry about lots of stuff, too. :)

I would think that the heartbeat being found low just means that the baby is currently head down. That doesn't mean baby will stay head down, of course. :haha: At this point, the important thing is that there IS a heartbeat... I really wouldn't worry about where you find it at :)

Thanks ladies, I wasn't concerned of babies positioning just the fact the heatbeat has NEVER been that low before!!!
