heartbeat scare

So i went in for my first nonstress test today and his heartbeat dropped so they sent me to labor and delivery everything checked out there. I have to do another 24hr urine catch now too. I am still really shaken up and feel i am not getting support from oh as when i told him i was coming home his first question was are you horny and later asked me if he had to jack off i also had to make supper even though i asked him to do it. I feel alone in all this.

I get really sad when I read posts about OH being such a jackass. I'm really sorry you and every other lady that is having problems with an unsupportive mate. I hope that everything gets worked out and they start stepping up to the mate plate.

I had a heart beat drop just recently, but was reassured by 4 different doctors and nurses that it's completely normal as long as it shoots back up to normal rate right after it happens.

It isnt easy and his didnt go back up right away i guess which is why i needed extra monitoring.

This happened to me today. I was in getting checked out because i had some spotting which turned out to be nothing... Well I had this resident (student doctor) doing the exam with the speculum and she was doing a horrible job and it was extremely painful. Then I started to pass out because I was lying on my back. She just sort of stared at me and offered to get me some juice and then ran out of the room. The nurse came in and got me sitting up and gave me oxygen but one of my twins had no heartrate. It eventually started to climb but was at like 60-80 for quite a while. I was pretty delirious so didn't really understand what was happening. I'm really worried this will have a lasting effect on the baby. Proudparent - let me know if your doctor says anything about it. Sorry you DH was being a jerk.

So sorry hun!! What a jerk! I hope your LO is fine. When I was in labor with my son, they hooked me up to the monitor and within 10 mins his heart rate dropped. They rushed in, made me sit up, and oxygen mask. It never happened again throughout my whole labor and he's fine!
