Heartbroken, I am not so sure my little boy is really a boy

I am sorry, I may had worded my tittle wrong. Heartbroken yes, but not for a certain sex of a child. I meant more in the regards too, I was told it looked like a girl. I thought it was a girl moment I found out I was pregnant . So, I was shock when they said boy. So, I had to think of a new name, she was now a he. Now for almost TWO to months I prepared for a little boy, mentally and financially. But, by no means what so ever do I want one more then the other. I have both girls and boys, and adore them all. I guess any mother who got use to the ideal of a little girl or boy, then was told it was not who they thought. It would be a shock, but doesnt mean it wouldn't be loved any less. So, I feel blessed either way and will take what is given to me. So, in the end I will not be heartbroken, I guess it was only a moment.

I'm not sure hun. I'm thinking if the tech said boy, then its probably a boy. During my scan we got a quick 'doodle shot' then baby put his hand between his legs. While his hand was there, it looked like 3 lines to me and certainly looked like a girly pic. But when he moved his hand again, there it was. Only for a second and the sonographer had to be quick and hit the pause button to see it. They move so quickly! It is possible that the pics with the lines are actually baby's hand.

I also get why ur upset, Id be upset if I was told he was a girl after bonding with him as a boy after all this time. I hope hes a boy and just being shy!

honestly ? i think ring the place where u got the gender scan done and ask for a rescan . if they were correct and can clearly point out the penis and scrotum, then u will pay, if its a girl, you should get the rescan free

I am no expert. Didn't want to read and run. I think if two people have told you that you were having a boy, your probably having a boy. If they do guess wrong its usually they guess a girl and it turns out a boy not the other way around. But humans are perfect and mistakes have been made. I hope you get the little boy your hoping for. My husband and I are hoping for a little boy as well, and we will hopefully know in 2 weeks. Goodluck!!!

I also think if 2 technicians have told you it's a boy, then it's probably a boy. They're trained to know what is what, and if you can obviously tell where the cord is, I'm sure they can.

They can get it wrong sometimes though, I've seen it happen a few times to girls on the forum. I know it's rarely and especially by two but it can happen.

I'd trust what they say though, after all they're the experts not you
