Anyone still suffering badly with heartburn towards the end? This is another thing i was told would calm down once baby started to engage, mines not at all! Mainly of a night, keep waking up with it and it's terrible, proberly the worse i've ever had it! Blah
I'm not as far on as you so can't help but read that it was ok to take Gaviscon Cool - that really helps mine anyway... xxx
I exactly the same, I have it ALOT!!! There are days when it starts around lunch time and thats it til the next day, or sometimes that I only have it at night and wake up with acid in my mouth (sorry TMI), its so horrible! xxx
I too thought it would improve as baby engaged more but no such luck! I suppose I am lucky though as I don't get any pain, just reflux. But waking myself up feeling like i'm being sick is not too pleasant! Thanks god for Gaviscon stuff and lots of pillows.
I too thought it would ease off, it did for a while, but now its back, and its worse than ever. I find a glass of milk b4 bed helps me....Sometimes! My nights would be great if it weren't for heartburn xx
i had heartburn till the end and i was thesame with morning sickness to! just goes to show every pregnancy is different. as u no my craving was and still is ice lol so that helped and also chewy rennies
Oh god yes. I haven't had heartburn throughout my whole pregnancy but the last week I've been in agony with it. Gaviscon doesn't work, milk doesn't work and I get the pain in my ribs, back and feels like my throat is on fire!! It starts 9pm every night, no matter what time I've had dinner or even if I've eaten.... LO also starts getting very active at this time so I wonder if it's anything to do with her pushing against certain body parts
Ive got it bad today, I was fine until I ate a fried egg sarnie, mine flares from certain foods so might be worth seeing if theres a link with what your eating, ive sent OH to the shop for a fat milkshake thats the best way ive found to treat mine and there a beaut! xx
Mine has started easing and it only seems to be at night that i have to take gaviscon. Bout time though. Ive suffered bad with it from the start.
I'm only 30 weeks, but sometimes I get it SOOOO bad!!! I take TUMS, it doesn't cure it, but it makes it a little better. I hate not being able to get comfortable.
