heartburn really bad

    anyone got any home remedies for heartburn or a tip how to get rid of it b4 i screem lol:shrug:

    I need advice too!!!!! I have it really bad with this pregnancy so far!!

    All I can say is avoid greasy food, and any antacid like tums works pretty
    good for awhile.....

    I found that stress made mine worse. Since I've taken the stressor away, mine has disappeared! Gaviscon worked for me as well as drinking milk. Sleep propped up in bed.

    I drink milkshake because I hate the taste of milk (milk with Nesquik powder), it works for a little while but you do have to drink lots! Also chewable Rennies seem to work.

    I have cut out all fizzy drinks and juice drinks completely, only drink water now, and it is MUCH better! xx

    Gaviscon!

    I have also started avoiding greasy foods and fizzy and juice drinks, seems to have helped.

    My doctor has asked me to chew sugarless chewing gums because they increase salivation, which apparently combats heartburn. I have started today, so let's see how they work!
