Heidi or Niamh?

I love Lilly & Rose! Keep working on your OH -- show him baby name sites so he realizes that flower names are trendy right now!

Thanks for your help guys!
This is becoming almost impossible!
I had always loved the name heidi and so imagined our next daughter being called heidi, the way you daydream and imagine how things will be so it has kind of stuck as a final decision up until hubby threw Niamh in to the equation. I love the name, I think its different and I also love irish names and our surname is also Irish so it goes well. The only problem with Niamh is, as mentioned before, the pronunciation as some people don't understand how to say it and personally I prefer the spelling Niamh to Neve despite Neve being easier to understand pronunciation wise. I think Niamh is a pretty little name.
I think we have come to conclusion we will have to see what name suits IF we have a girl and when she pops out, I think we will know when we look at her what name belongs to her:)

I think that Niamh is a lot more popular now and people know how to pronounce it. And surely if they don't know how to pronounce it's their problem, not yours or your little girls. My sister was talking about Niamh yesterday, she siad there's a girl in her class and they call her Niamhy, it's soooooooooo cute!!
I still think Heidi Niamh

Not sure yet??
I love Ava and Sienna at the mo but that could all change lol!!

i love ava also eva but hubby AGAIN being stubborn!
Me and my mum always choose cute girly names and he poo poo's them!!!!

Just an FYI - don't know if it matters or not to you but in America Heidi is a really dated name. Not so dated that it sounds new or fresh again, just dated enough to sound unappealing... but obviously to each their own and what matters is how it feels and fits for you. I am trying to separate the associations I have to just hear the name like for the first time but I seem to be unable to do so so I apologize.

I also like flowery names so maybe if you keep throwing them out there and DH gets use to hearing them soon he will be drawn to one of your choices... I noticed with DH sometimes it works that way... gotta plant the seed and then come back to it later! :)
