Hi so I'm new to this site. This is my first thread.

I'm 23 years old. Me and my husband have been married 2 1/2 years and we recently decided to ttc for our first. I was on the pill for the first year of our marriage and stopped taking it for no reason lol. So I have been off the pill for a year and a half now (we were using condoms) and my cycles are very irregular. They come and go between 35-44 days every month. I have gotten every test/examination/ultrasound I could get done and seems I'm fine. It's really frustrating when your cycle is irregular and you're trying to find that week where you're fertile. However this is not the reason I posted. I got my last period on Oct 6th, 2012. According to a 40 day cycle I should have been fertile Oct 27-Nov 1. So we were doing the deed everyday on those days. I started to spot Nov 9. With all the symptoms of nausea, vomiting and weakness. Thinking it was implantation bleeding I got really excited because I wasn't expecting my period until Nov 15. But then the bleeding got heavier and lasted 5 days until now. Today is the 5th day and I'm still bleeding just like a period. So now my question is did I get pregnant and lose it and not know? Or is it just an early period? I had the symptoms, high bbt, nausea, vomiting etc. and now I don't have them since the bleeding. Has someone experienced something like this? Please and thank you.

With the exception of a few, the majority of pregnancy symptoms are the same as PMS.

Sounds like your period arrived a little earlier than anticipated.

Good luck.

Hi ic sugar exactly the same thing happened me a few months ago was really weird I had loads of symptoms and then my AF came early like 5 days early and really heavy so I wasn't sure if I was pregnant and just lost it really early or if just random early AF I guess I will never know and I also guess I am not really helping you with this answer but wanted to reply to you as I wondered what on earth was going on when it happened to me. My hubbie and I are ttc our first too and I have my fingers crossed for you hun, everyone here is really nice. Welcome x

Hi girls. Same thing happened to me a few months ago, about a week early and very heavy n painful, it woke me from my sleep when it started which hadn't happened before. I guess we'll never know. Have you tried ovulation sticks? We haven't yet but will start after Xmas if no bfp by then. Might help with your o timings

Hey Girls- I agree with maxi opks are great way to know when you should get down to business!! ;-) I would suggest getting the Internet cheapie a off amazon and the clear blue digitals. if you use the cheapies until they look positive (ie test line nearly as dark as control) then use more expensive digital one until you get that happy smiley face! X

I have had similar issues, and I also have a history of long, erratic cycles. I would get +OPK's as late as CD 30-35, plan BD very carefully, and ALWAYS got BFN! UGH! I feel your pain. There were a couple instances where I would have similar symptoms, then AF would come early. I have read some stuff about women with really long, irregular cycles may conceive but have trouble sustaining the pregnancy because of an "aged" egg with poor quality, and also poor quality of the endometrial lining, because it has already started to deteriorate. There were a handful of cycles where I am convinced we conceived but just lost pregnancies - isn't that what is called a chemical pregnancy? The embryo is just passed out of the body with what looks like a normal pregnancy. My long, irregular cycles were because of my strenuous exercise regimen, and I have been able to shorten my cycles lengths and I now ovulate around CD 19 - but still no BFP:( My doctor wants us to try 3 more months with well timed BD, then it's on to more investigation/possible meds...I'll be interested to hear how things turn out for you! I hope you get that BFP soon!

*edit* - I meant with what seems like a normal PERIOD, haha

I know but this was the first time for me dealing with nausea and vomiting. That's why I thought I was pregnant :nope:
