Hello everyone!
My name is Jill and I'm TTC. I'm 22 and got married a little over 6 months ago. To give a little information about me:
When I was 19, I found out that I was in the early stages of Ovarian Cancer, which took one of my ovaries. The doctors gave me until I'm 30 to have children, and after that they want to give me a hysterectomy to ensure a cancer free life from here on out. My husband and I both have always wanted a large family (I come from a family of 6 children, he comes from a "small" *wink* family of 4 kids.)Though with less than eight years to go, it seems like we won't achieve our large family dream...but we'd like to have as many as we can within those eight years, so it's time to get cracking!
I had two negative pregnancy tests in the last four months when I was sure I was pregnant, but at the time we weren't trying to concieve, though we weren't going out of our way to be too protective against it. When I thought I was pregnant last month, I was quite devasted when the test turned out negative. This month, we've decided that we're financially able to begin trying to have a baby and we're definitely ready in every other way (we even have a nursery all set up!) and we couldn't be more excited!
Here's to hoping!
