HELP! Baby will only sleep with cuddles!

How does he fall a sleep for his other naps and bed time?
Personally i wouldn't leave him to cry as he is so young - but understand why your willing to try anything to break the habit.
Have you tried putting him down as soon as he gives you is first sleep cue and coupled this with the shh/pat technique? This is what i found worked for me.
