Question. Does anyone know what happens with child support in cases where the father has two children by different mothers? Canada in general, but please let my know if you know in regards to bc or alberta specific. I'm trying to get some stuff sorted out with Brooklynns daddy. I haven't been collecting support, we aren't living together and aren't sure what is going to happen, we have things to work out. His son's mother is telling the courts that he is still making $$ like he used to and he isn't but she is going for huge child support amounts making it impossible for him to even get help me get anything for brooklynn.

it gets split between the two I do believe

Does that mean the total payment amout calculated for him having two children is split then... does that make sense how I said it?

hold on, there are charts for this stuff on the government webpages. I'll find it.
