Help....complicated pregnancy!

Hi all so I started spotting days after getting my bfp....went to my doc who sent me to the hosp for bloods. My hcg levels have been rising slowly but nit doubling how they wanted. Last thurs I went for my first scan where I was told I was 5 weeks gone not 6 and a half like I thought. I was told the gestation sac was in the right place but it was an irregula shape and it was also empty. I was sure that was going to be it but no the doc wants me to go back in 8 days, making my next scan tomoz. The thing is the past 2 days I have noticed some clear discharge when I wipe. I have also noticed after afew wipes there is a faint bit of light blood. I have looked up clear discharge and many say this is a good sign......can someone help me?

Sorry hun, I really don't know but I wouldn't worry about discharge so long as you're not bleeding heavily. From what I understand, clear or white CM is normal.

It's possible that you aren't as far along as you thought....seems to be a common thing with many of us, then it may not be a problem that they couldn't see anything in the gestational sac.

I think you will just need to hang on until your scan tomorrow and then you'll know more. I know it's really tough to wait with all the uncertainty.

Thank you for replying.....I think im guna go into my scan tomoz thinking the worst, that way it wont hurt quite so much when they tell me the bad news

That's what I did when I had my emergency scan last week. Then I burst into tears when she told me everything was fine. I hope you get the same good news. x

a abundance of clear cm is good , i have tons of it and when i complained at the midwife she said it was a good hormonal sign

This pregnancy i had a emergency scan at 5 weeks (ish ) to check it wasnt ectopic and all they saw was a sac and no fetal pole....

at the viability scan at 6 weeks they saw the fetal pole and a flicker of a heart beat...


so dont give up all hope ~hugs~
