Help if possible please

Hi my DS is 3 and starting nursery in 2weeks time. However he is still in nappies (pull ups through the day advice of nursery) I am worried this is going to cause problems. The nursery staff were brilliant and said not to worry but make them aware if he was still in nappies when he started when we had our pre visit. He also doesnt talk or really communicate I feel at my wits end with it all everyone I speak to says its nothing and not to worry, but I feel its something and I am worried!
We have had a hearing test done which they said was fine and Im not sure what else to try.
We have moved so I have requested a visit from a new health visitor in hope they are more favourable and listen to me unlike my old health visitor, who had me more times than I care to remember.

Has anyone else had any experience with this kind of situation?

If you have any concerns about his development, then I would have a chat with your paedritician (sp). Did you / doctor mention anything re your LOs communication at your last check up ?

Thank you TTC Lady, the Dr's are not overly bothered and say he will speak when hes ready, I just want a whole load of trouble at nursery if I can do something now about it, I see a new health visitor next Friday for his preschool boosters so going to mention it then to them I think.
