help ladies, last min things to do in labour list

ok i'm writing a list for OH to do before we leave for the hospital


We need
-Sterilise bottles and soothers and pack (15-20 mins)
-Ipod
-Phone charger
-Drinks
-Sweets
-Food
-White notes
-Pink baby laptop and charger
-Dogs food out for next 24hr and in separate piles in case xxx needs to feed them
-Water bowl in puppy create, and grumpys topped up
-Birthing ball into car (silver one)
-DSLR


can anybody see any gaping holes??

i'm planning to breastfeed (packing bottles incase i cannto do it as using HiPP as a back up and it doesn't come in ikkle glass bottle) so the champers is out of the window.

must add to get food out for us

I'd say leave the take out menus....

Your not going to feel like cooking or preparing anything when you get back!!

we have meals already frozen that just need microwaved, far quicker than a take away, plus depends on time of discharge if take away would be open

Pack any last minute clothes for you? i have my favourite joggers ready to go in my hospital back, but i'll probably want to wear them before! And anything to add to hospital bag, like hair brush etc? i have a post it note on my hospital bag of what i need to put in when we're ready to go (this is what we did with maddi)

have you got any change/money ready for vending machines, phones, tv card? x

we keep a change box in the car, we'll both have our phones and i've a book packed....... not a great watcher of TV when in pain or bored..

i'm sure i packed energy sweets last time, and sweets for during gas and air when your month gets dry - didn't use them in the end, but thought energy sweets were a good idea. i can't eat in labour this time (previous section, so have to be ready for emcs again) but the sweets were great for afterwards

sweets and glucose tablets are in the bag already, just need to lift stuff for OH, also got some lucozade sport gel shots, never seen them before but boots had them on offer
