hi ladies i had my 4d scan yesterday and my little lady was breech, her bum is sitting low in my pelvis and her legs come up and her knees are infront of her face and feet over head as you can see from my scan pic ive put on,what are the chances she will turn head down in the next 6wks and how many ladies have had this and there baby did or didnt turn,im scared of having a c section but trying to be realistic with it all and prepare myself, thankyou for any info :flower:

I love seeing the 4d scans of breech babies! Erin was breech from about 28 weeks and she didn't turn but a lot do. If she hasn't moved around as you get further along, you could try some of the exercises on the spinning babies website. :flower:

My baby was breech at 31 weeks and i could feel it too - it was so uncomfortable. I started RLT at 32 weeks, bounced on my birthing ball, went on a few long walks and sorted the nursery out including being on my hands and knees all day putting together flat pack furniture and something must have worked because at my 34 week appointment the midwife confirmed s/he's moved head down. Still uncomfortable but better than when s/he was breech! I wouldn't worry too much at this stage, most babies do move head down. Good luck!

My little girl has been transverse or breech all pregnancy at my appointment Thursday they said she was head down. I'd had my previous appointment the week before so she moved within about 10 days :) x

Im still waiting for mine to turn and really hope she does, starting to hurt now one or both her feet dig into my left hip. She not moved position since around 28wks.

thankyou all ladies, ive heard about the all fours postion can help but ive been doing that since 27 wks and if anything she has got in a worse position as she was breech feet down to now being bum down and bk to bk haha,i hope for the ladies waiting for their baby to turn that they do for you,i guess i need to wait and see,its defo more uncomfy than carrying a baby head down as i neva had this with my dd or ds and im now sitting with a hotwater bottle on the bottom of my back x x

Mine is still turning summersaults in there and I'm almost 35 weeks. Also my 1st pregnancy I was 38+ weeks and my baby turned by herself.... that was weird to watch!

im so glad to hear that there is hope she will lol,i really want my water birth again x

im 35 weeks and breech. when you ladies are all saying its uncomfortable can you go into more detail as im not feeling any pain or discomfort so im wondering if they have got it wrong or baby has already moved? x

my little girl was head down when i was 23 weeks, but as of around 26 weeks she moved to transverse lie and stayed like that until a week ago, when she went head down again, but since then shes been moving loads, and has been breech and transverse again, but is back to head down today... basically, shes still moving around loads, so im trying not to worry too much at the moment. She still has plenty of time to move. :flower: hope your little one moves soon :flower:

All i mean by being uncomfortable is she is lead to my right side and keeps digging her foot/feet in either my pubic bone area or my left hip and seems to stretch right out and that hurts cos i cant get comfortable.

Baby was breech at 36 weeks and turned at 38. I used a moxa stick though. I've heard of babies turning just before labour. Don't worry, you are still early she's got plenty of time to turn :)

My friend still had a breech baby at 35 weeks but he'd turned by 40 weeks. :) x

Baby was breech at 29 weeks, turned transverse at 32 and just barely turned heads down at 36 :)

My second was breech until pretty late, and he did finally turn.

Not me personally, but a friend of mine, her little lady kept rotating from breech to head down until 38week's. She said it was very painful every time she turned, but she was a good baby in the end  Good luck to you :flower:

Im having twins, my presenting twin (so the first one to be born, twin A) is breach, twin B is head down. If it was the other way round they wouldnt worry too much but twin A has to move or ill have to have a section.

Again is early days for me, but having twins also means less room to move and a shorter pregnancy, so who knows? Im just keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck hun x

Last week @ week 34 my baby was breech. Had a scan yesterday (first day of week 35) and he had turned head down!!! Hope he stays that way. So you definitely have time and can still have your v. birth.
