Help!! Lube?!!

Oh my gosh I just read that using lube can kill sperm!! My doctor so did not tell me this. I ovulated yesterday and I used pure romance just like me origional lube....did I just kill my chances this month

I don't believe it kills them ALL, but it does give them a very acidic atmosphere that makes it harder for them to live through. Your doctor should have told you the risks indeed. Don't consider yourself completely out yet, though hun

Slippery Stuff is generally known to be sperm friendly!

There is also PreSeed but I happen to be allergic to it. I was so disappointed though coz its supposedly the best and helps you conceive, also expensive... Bah.

I use preseed and conceive plus. I prefer conceive plus as it doesnt kill any sperm and preseed kills a teeny tiny amount. But I would recommend both.

but yeah other lubes kill sperm and even like saliva and stuff does too.

Hi MrsM, most lubes do kill sperm, however don't count yourself out until AF show her face!! Preseed is a good lube. My husband and I tried it only once. I ordered it online for $20 and we got pregnant the first month we used it - I am now 23 weeks. If you want to use a lube, I would recommend preseed or concieve plus. Good luck!

Most lubes kill sperm, not all of course but it does lower your chances. Conceive Plus and Pre Seed are both conception friendly lubes.

When I was NOT TTC I got pregnant using lotion, yes, lotion that you would put on your face, so if the sperm are strong they CAN live thru it! don;t count yourself out, it only take 1!
