Hi ladies,

My husbands name is Justin. DS is Jaxon and the only boy name we can agree on with this bubba is James.

Is that too many J's???? I feel like it is. Hubby thinks its fine.

I quite like naming traditions like that mysef!!

I think james is a lovely name and it's nice to have all Js.

I love Js too! I have a Jack James (which is almost a mixture of your two names lol) and I also love Jacob and Joshua

I think the names are lovely together x

Im not keen on same letter names (mainly for same sex children/parent) purely because i think of if they're older and the postman delivers a letter for a 'Mr X Smith' - what would you do if you had 3 Mr X Smiths in the house? Though seeing as you've kind of already got a tradition going i don't see a problem with continuing it, the main thing is that you like the name you've chosen :) xx

I have this same problem! DH is Matthew, DS is Max and our dog (ok so not quite the same problem) is called Milo! And EVERYONE comments on it. So I've said I do not want this baby to have a name that begins with M :haha:

Obviously it's all personal choice though. You do what you feel comfortable with! I know one family that have 4 girls with first names beginning with K and then one of them has had a daughter whose name begins with K too!

My son is Sean and we plan on calling the girl Sara, I don't see a problem with it. I was one of 3 A's.

I am not sure if we keep having kids if we will keep to the S's, or no...don't want to go too far and come across too much like the Duggars...

It was one.of the reasons we dismissed our favourite girls name from first pregnancy with our second because it sounded a bit too matchy . But it's how you feel that matters. As it turns out both my boys have J middle names (James and Joseph) and I do think I might have to do the same if we have a third boy because I think it might be unfair if a third didn't have this link :dohh:

Also do you think you are stopping at 2? If not you might feel like I do with middle names that any subsequent children will need names beginning with J and is that something you'd be okay with?

Thanks ladies for your opinions. Had baby boy yesterday and we went with James Oliver.
