Help please - got progesterone test results

Hi there,

I have my progesterone test results back for this cycle.

My temps suggested i ovulated on cd15 so I think the tests were done on 5dpo, 6dpo and 8dpo.

The doctor said the first two suggest ovulation as they are above 25. My levels were:

Cd20 - 42
Cd21 - 37
Cd23 - 29

So I am guessing no this cycle as the levels are going down

I have read that levels peak around 7dpo - would my test results indicate that I ovulated earlier than cd15?

Those levels are all good and indicative of ovulation! Anything above 25 is considered above average ovulation levels! I know this as mine are low so starting clomid next month (mine are usually about 19-23) so to get above 25-30 is fab! Keep DTD your time will come best of luck x

Also your last test was CD23 so slightly later I'm cycle whereas CD21 is 7dpo. So I would say your levels are usually above 30! Eek! So I wouldn't worry as that's nice and healthy

Also if levels are above 25 on cd 21 it will indicate you ovulated around 7 days before so between CD 13-16 I'm guessing is your ovulation and fertile time, good luck!

Thanks Lozza - I think I ovulated late this month so cd23 is probably only 8dpo, but like you said, above 25 so all good. Hubby is getting tested on Monday so will see how that goes.
