Sorry girls TMI but got to leave for work soon...I am just hoping I can access this forum there!

When I walk I have a pain at the front of my Vaj Jay Jay... it is very odd because it doesn't feel like it's inside...it feels closer to surface but it very owchy...

It feels better when I sit down. There is no blood, no funny discharge...

Could the baby be sitting on a nerve higher up? It's mostly on left side of my VJJ...

It is beyond weird...but ouchy :(

Hey hun - I have been gettin pains in my foo foo also - not constant and it only seems when im half way through a shift at work, when i sit it calms but can become sharper if i move too quickly....
I think its just when iv done too much and my body is tellin me to rest up a bit....my midwife wasnt concerned when i spoke to her and said it was just normal pregnancy pains
Hope this puts ur mind at rest

it does happen like that sweetheart, honestly, the little one can sit and squish certain nerves at their own leisure not realising its painfull to mummy, lol. i had one day where i couldnt get out of bed as i couldnt feel my legs!!
but you do get pains there too when your uterus grows much bigger and it pulls on all the ligaments etc, it can feel like sharp knife pains sometimes and when you move or get up etc, you are pulling on them so it hurts a little more.
it doesnt last for long, but as baby gets a growth spurt it comes back for a bit, same process really of growing pains.

Hello, I have a similar thing. It's kind of really low down in my abdomen, just above my bits. It hurts when I go up stairs, walk too much, get in and out of cars, move around when I'm sitting, or turning in bed etc. I rang my midwife a few weeks ago and she said that the body releases a hormone during pregnancy called relaxin, which basically prepares the hip bones for birth. It relaxes the joints, which allows your hips to move (I think) 3cm apart. I was a bit confused because it wasn't on my actual hips, but the midwife said the most common area to be affected is the one I described - lower middle abdo, above my bits!

She said that it's basically growing pains, but if it gets way too painful to deal with then she said it's commonly known as SPD and she will refer me to physio.

You can find loads of info online, and it's super common! Most cases don't turn into SPD :) :flower:

I thought I was the only one with this and was slightly embarrassed to ask!
I get it and all around my groin area too. It's really painful at night and when I move to get out of bed or getting up after sitting down for a long while. I also hear bones click - I assume its pelvis/hip and sometimes in my lower back too.
I have a midwife appointment in a couple of weeks and was going to ask then, but useful to know before hand.
Thanks Sugarwag for posting :flower:

Thank you ladies for responding!

A really funny thing happened to me at work yesterday, another lady in a diff dept is due two days after me and we both had our scans yesterday...

bumped into her down corridor and she asked me if I was ok and I said yes...she then said..."I'm getting pains here...and pointed to exactly where I was getting them yesterday too!"

I was like "OMG Me too!!!"...Thank God!! It's not just me! How odd that we both got them the same day!!

I had the same thing with my 2nd pregnancy. I thought I was going to rip in two and drop anchor right where I stood. It started around the 24th week. Its pain from your symphisis pubis. Your hormones cause that to relax. A chiropractor works miracles for that.... Hope that helps!

A chiropractor would rub my VJJ

???????????????

Sugarwag, I would die if my chiro rubbed that! There is a special adjustment done just for frontal vjj pain. I swear :)
