Help! what is this weird pink line on my pregnancy test

I'm only about 9dpo, but decided to do a test today as I have been feeling extremely sick over the passed few days and my boobs hurt like crazy (might be Clomid side effects) anyway... I did the test, waited the 3 minutes and when I looked back the control line was there, but there is a weird pink line over the top of where the test line would be :/ not sure what to make of it. Won't let me upload a pic from my phone

It's hard to say without a pic... the test could be defective....
