I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but we seem to be a bit old for .most of the baby club topics now so am hoping you ladies can help!

My dd tends to ne a good sleeper but we have been having problems the last few weeks. Some nights she will sleep through but she is increasingly waking.up more. She wiggles all the way to the top of her cot in her sleep then as she keeps trying to move she starts banging her head on the top, this wakes her up and she starts intermittent crying, I try and ignore her but she can't get properly back to sleep. I end up having to move her back down the cot, as soon as I move her she starts hysterically screaming. If I leave her she just kneels or stands up and screams. She stops when I pick her up and settles but the second she is put back down she starts again.

I am s bit stuck as to what to do, I can't stop her moving around so can't see how to stop her waking herself up bit I don't know what to do next, any ideas? X

If you are comfortable with the idea, what about stuffed animals? The top of our LO's crib is lined with them and they make an excellent bumper! (she's always at the top, too)

We had some bumps in DS's nighttime sleep right before he turned 13 months and it lasted a few weeks with odd wakings and such and now he's back to normal. The stuffed animals idea sounds like a good idea or maybe a rolled blanket up at the top of the bed. DS has a travel size monkey pillow pet he sleeps with and that seems to help him sometimes when he has trouble getting back to sleep...seems to sooth him. Hope you find something that works and things get better! xxx

Or LO also likes to squish up into the corner or top of her crib- she has since she could roll! LOL. We finally got a mesh bumper (breathable one) that works well- she doesn't get stuck, and it gives a little barrier between her and the hard crib bars. Might be worth a shot :)

My lo went through this stage about a month ago so we just put some of her teddies in to keep her company and just had to ride it out. Keep going in and checking and leave her a little longer each time and eventually it will pass and she will sleep through again x

My DD did the same thing and I took and old pillow, sewed ribbon on each of the 4 corners and tied it to the cot with the pillow standing upright. (Hope you can picture what I am trying to explain) That way it stopped her from banging her head at he top of the cot, but also I didnt have to worry abut her with the pillow because it was tied tight to the front of the cot.
