I got a digits posting but was dying to see the 2 posting lines so opened it and found one line,could the test be defective?

Usually I say go with what the screen says. I am concerned that the clock was still there. If it is the brand I am thinking of that could be a sign of a faulty test. Have you had a positive before this? Can you get a standard line test?
 
This was first respond gold and I got a faint positive with the clear blue but negative regular first response and negative dollar tree test.
 
I thought so. I found a few similar posts but the op never updated =\

I would be wary of the blue dye unless it is a strong positive. I would think a frer would show if the gold did. But the dollar tree might not. I'm sorry. I wish I had a better answer. I hate to say the classic try fmu and fxed!
 
Digital tests don't work the same as line dye tests from what I understand. So you can't use that as an indicator. I'd definitely test again. Good luck
