since Maddox started having teething issues hes been chewing and tugging on my nipples - i'm back to having sore cracked nipples and feeling like i want to give up any tips ?

take him off whenever he does it as he will soon learn that if he bite he gets no boob

If it gets really uncomfortable you could use shields to feed until they heal

Is there a pattern to when he starts chewing? Is it towards the end of the feed?

Is there a BF support group on camp?

he doesnt so much bite as grind his gums against me, or tugs them

i have baby clinic in the morning so i'll ask HV,

Have you tried teething granules before a feed?

I havnt but teething gel before seemwd to help

Owen went through this with his teeth (hes got 8!) and it wasnt biting like you say,I think he was easing his gums.It really hurt like it does when you first start breastfeeding. I just used to feed in all different positions (lying down helped)so it was never hurting on the same spot,then putting loads of lansinoh on afterwards and it didnt last long.
