Hi guys, just wanted some tips/good stories

Hi all, I'm looking for someone with a similar experience to share any tips, advice or just their story really
I had an ectopic at 8 weeks two years ago, I has the break as advised by the hospital and started back FTC
Last year I went bk on the pill in October/nov just to regulate my cycles as I was having a long one normal every other month
Now they are regular the same each month. Iv been tracking ov with the sticks and I get my positive the 9th of the month and I always come on the 24th of the month

I'm just starting to wonder why nothing is happening after 2 years

Anyone have any advise or something I may be doing wrong myb n not realise xxxxx

If you've been trying to conceive without any luck for more than a year, you should talk to your doctor about being referred to a fertility specialist. There's any number of things they can test to see why you aren't getting pregnant.

Thanks dairy, I actually went to the docs yesterday,
She's gonna test my blood to see if I ovulated or not in a few weeks , n check all thyroid kidneys etc
If it turns out I'm not she said I'll be referred to a fertility doctor for tests/help

She mentioned possibly clomid?!!

She probably mentioned clomid because you could be getting the LH hormone surge every month but not actually releasing an egg or the egg isn't mature enough or something. The clomid could help with ovulation and increase your chances of getting pregnant. And it's good that she's checking thyroid function as the thyroid controls lots of hormones and if it's off, it can cause infertility and/or miscarriage. It's one of the first things my doctors checked with me. Hopefully you get some answers soon. TTC, especially with infertility and/or miscarriage in the mix, can be a gut-wrenching process. Good luck though and I'm hoping your baby dreams are granted.

ThankyOu, iv read about clomid I think a lot of ladies on here talk about it a lot.

I had my hormone tested before last year and it said I wasn't ovulating but when I said to the doc that I had a positive ov test he just said well your ok then and hung up lol

Obv now I think I should have pushed for it more at the time but I took his word for it
Luckily iv had a new lady doc join my surgery who was very good and said everything I previously posted
Just happy something is being done now
