Hi! I'm new!

Hi! I'm new around here.
Trying to conceive right now for my 1st baby. I am so scared I won't make it. I have this weird feeling that I will not be able to conceive, even tho in my family all women conceived quickly and without any problems...

Me and my partner have bd every day during the whole last week and part of this one. AF came on 1st October, and last Sunday I had strechy cm, but we have bd pretty much every day until yesterday.

Now, I am feeling sharp (but not disturbing) pain on lower tummy. I feel really hot, my temp is high even altho I am not ill, I dont feel ill... I have been tired and day dreaming a bit - which is so unusual.

Could that be a good sign? I think it's too early to tell anyway, and I don't want to get my hopes too high and be disappointed in a week or so... But deep inside I feel filled up, and that is also very strange...

Anyone experiencing the same? This is all new to me and the more I read the more I get frightened...

If you are on a 28 day cycle, you should be ovulating around today. Ovulation pains are probably what you are feeling. I would have sex again tonight just to make sure you caught the egg. You may want to get on fertility friend and start charting your temps. You could probably gain some knowledge about yourself by temping/charting. Good Luck--I hope you caught the egg!

Hi, I have also just joined (tonight in fact). We are also trying for our first baby and just last week I had my first IUI treatment - so now it's a waiting game. I know how you feel - there are a few babies in my family and my husband's family - no real reason why we haven't conceived yet. Good luck!

Hi Rebel...you are in the same position as me. CD 1 Oct 1st with a 28 day cycle. I have dull achy OV pains today too, low down near my knickerline. I always get OV pains so I dont temp or anything. My BD chart is pretty similar to yours and I am contemplating pouncing on my DH for luck tonight..I usually OV CD14/15 so heres hoping we both can still catch that eggie.!

I'm on cycle no 2 but didn't chart or do anything other than BD so have no idea if I/we got the timing right last month lol!

But know how you feel about the... "can't imagine this ever happening for us" but for no real reason think that most people TTC no 1 feel the same til they get that BFP!

Just wanted to say how reassuring it is that you guys have that "I bet I won't be able to concieve" feeling too - despite there being no good reason for it! Fingers crossed that we're all in for a BFP this month and the TTC boards will be bare!!!

All the fertility specialists say best time to BD is 5 days before, day of ovulation and 1 day post so if you can summon up the enery i would give it a go today and then Saturday... just to be on the safe side!!

You aren't alone in thinking that you might have problems hun - all the magazines and papers say fertility is on decline but if you are taking care of yourself and doing everything right then hopefully that will be coming your way super soon!! good luck x

LOL trust me, even I am surprised with all this action around here!!! With so much bding, If we don't catch the egg I dunno what will...! I swear my ovulation was last Monday tho, because my CM that afternoon was stretchy and kinda like raw egg white...

Anyway, today I feel extremely hot, my niples are sore (but nothing too painful) and I am having mood swings... I know it's too early, and I continue with that stupid idea that this is not happening for me. I just hope I don't jinx it...

Poor DP... I was shouting, and then I was crying, and then I was hugging him... It's been a rollercoaster - a nice one tho. I just want this so badly - I mean, we all do, don't we?...

I know that would be so cool...there are a few of us in the cycle buddies section all CD1 around Oct 1st....the symptom spotting will be starting any day now. I have sore nipples.......only on the ends, had to take my bra off! Still niggling down below but other than that feeling fine and dandy.!

I feel the same: sore niples. My breasts seem larger too, but not too sure about that as I put a bit of weight. Feel very hot all the time, but apart from that all's good.

Hi, I'm new too - joined a couple of days ago. I'm definitely with you on the feeling I won't conceive thing. But my best friend said she didn't believe she was pregnant even when she was 5/6 months (she has a lovely baby girl now). I guess it's just something that's never happened so can't see it happening (if that makes sense). Anyway, good luck.

Hello ladies!

Hope you are all fine. Anyone experiencing any symptoms?
I have my nipples really sore, some twinges down there, and that's it. No signs of spotting or creamy cm.

Do you know if these happen for all women? I am really impatient, and have been keeping busy and distracted, but sometimes these thoughts just pop uninvitedly in my head and I can't help but feel insecure and scared...

I mean, I really don't feel pregnant... But then again, this is my first try for my first child... What do you think?
