Anyone experienced high BP in their first trimester? I just had my first appointment at 8 weeks and had a bp of 130/91. Usually don't have high blood pressure. Could it be a fluke? I got pre-eclampsia at 37 weeks with my daughter, and am terrified of having a premature baby due to high BP again.

Sorry to hear about your pre eclampsia. It could be that you were worried about having your BP taken (even subconciously) which can cause it to rise. However 130 is technically normal and 91 is only 1mmHg above the border for high and normal (in the UK, I don't know if its exactly the same elsewhere) hope everything works out ok

I, too, had pre eclampsia with my first. I'm only 4 weeks along. I'm getting a bp monitor from my sister so I can keep track and let them know at my 8 week check up how it usually is when I'm home.

I usually have a bp around 90/60 but never higher than 110 as the top number. When I went in to see my specialist the first time the top number was 130ish then the next week it was over 140!! I was just really nervous to see if baby progressed correctly. I got released to my normal ob and my bp was 110 again :) Try checking it at wal-mart or wherever they have those machines when you're not anxious. Anxiety does a lot!!
