Hi everyone. I am new to this forum, though have posted on TTC boards before. Long story short, DH and I have been TTC for 4+ years - multiple Clomid cycles, 2 IUI cycles with injectables, etc. - none of which worked. We were scheduled for first IVF cycle this month, but blood test results came back with FHS of 17 When I did same test last month, it was 9! I was told my AMH is decent enough for my age (it's 15 -I'm 36), most of the other tests are fine too, though estradiol could be better, but that it was pointless moving ahead with that FSH value.
My big question is, can FSH get better? Everything I've read online has me thinking high FSH is like a fertility death sentence. RE seemed confident it could change and said to test again next month, but am just so scared that this is it for me. Is there anything I can do to get that number down? Anyone with similar experiences and good news at the end?
Thank you.
