Hello,

I had a repeat HCG level done Friday and they were 6,000 (21 dpo) then another one this morning (3 days later) and it was 17, 400. Does this seem high for 24 dpo? the dr doesn't seem concerned but i keep googling and wondering...thanks ladies! have a good day :)

So far they are:

12 dpo= 117
18 dpo= 2028
21 dpo= 6,000
24 dpo= 17, 000

Hi Laila

I was just about to start a similar thread - I had my 1st blood test today at 22DPO and got 10,800, I will have another test on Wednesday. I was on clomid and the risk of multiple births is higher, so I was wondering...

Going by my LMP I am 5 weeks 1 day. How far along are you?

Hopefully some of the other ladies will have more info but I don't think it's any reason to worry. Can I ask why you are having so many tests?

Hopes. X

Hi hopes_Fading, thank you for your reply! I am currently 5 weeks, 3 days today. The Dr ordered all of these tests because I had continuous back pain which seems to have dissappeared? he did so as precaution to see if my levels would rise normally. Other than that, I was not on any ferility meds and had only been TTC for 2 months, it was kind of a big shocker actually but we are very happy...

High numbers are usually just a good sign of a pregnancy progressing well. You don't have to worry about anything bad unless they were say 100,000 at 16 DPO or so. Then that is a good indicator of a molar pregnancy. MY lab always listed my levels with Devon as in the high range, and same with my current pregnancy. Devon was a singleton, and I am fairly certain this one is as well.

10DPO- 22.4
13DPO- 188
15DPO - 436.5
17DPO - 1055
20DPO - 4156 (or something like that)
22DPO - 9780 (or similar)
24DPO - 21, 980 (that one is exact)

they are normal hun. They are meant to double every 2 days. Yours have been done every 3 days so they should be more than double. Its looking good. Congrats
