Higher BMI.....nasty Midwife

It frustrates me so much to hear stuff like this. Most who are over weight are fully aware of the risks in everyday life, let alone pregnancy. We have to live with that stress and try to gain little and keep our blood pressure down. It doesn't help when given negative comments.
I have been very lucky with how I've been treated. My BMI is 36, some of which is due to kidney disease and swelling but not all. I'm clear to them that I know I'm over weight. I know how I got there and I'm more then aware of the risks. I guess they do just want you aware if for some reason you didn't know you were at risks. Although the one person who was very mean to me later confessed that she has had no luck in getting pregnant and it was extra hard on her seeing women higher at risk conceive with no problem. But that being said I've had perfectly healthy pregnancies. Just more appointments then most. If anything I'm under the best of care and greatful for that.
I'm glad your other midwife is understanding though.
