No hun, its not your only option, im going to cyprus in october and I wasnt going to take my microwave steriliser as too much bulk, so someone said I should get 'milton sterilising tablets' basically all you need is a bowl (or disinfected sink) pop the tablet in and your bottles and it will sterilise them- and there is no need to even rinse (although I prob would because im very particular lol) so this is what I am doing, so much easier than boiling ect! Emjoy your trip xxxx

As above says, I also bought a travel sterilizing box from tesco, its basically a tub with a lid though, that can be used with cold water or microwave. cheaper option....Get a bigish tupperware tub and some milton tablets, you pop the bottles in cold water and add a tablet, 30 mins later yr bottles are done. The water stays sterile for 24 hours. It says dont rinse....but they stink of chlorine after so i always swill the insides out with boiled water. worked for me a treat this summer, and I had no probs with my 8 week old!!

when i went to turkey with my first daughter who was only 5 1/2 months at the time i took disposeable bottle liners, with a reuseable bottle thing, the bags were pre steralised, so all i had to steralise was the teat/lid, which i just did in a cup with some steralising tablets, this was 7 years ago though so not sure if they are still available, i'm curious now so will have a little look and let u know what i find lol x

you can buy steriliser tablets hun. x

I bought steam sterilizor bags that you can pop in the microwave (ask in advance if they have one). Quick and works well, and you can pack it well. https://www.amazon.com/Medela-Quick-Clean-Micro-Steam-Bags/dp/B000096QQ5

Although I was BFing most of the time, so only needed it occasionally. Also, at 6 months he'll be eating other stuff too, which makes things easier.

I took sterilsiing bags to Turkey with me, they were fine. I used damla water over there which was fine for LO and their nappies and wipes are fine too, although have dodgy names (Peado)
xx

Thank you! I will get some of these :)

I bought sterilising tablets from the local pharmacy and then bought a big 5litre bottle of water, cut the top off and used it to sterilise my bottles. No problems
