I'm in the mood to bake some yummy treats. Does anyone have any good holiday recipes/ideas they could share? I pretty much always do the same sugar cookies, forget em cookies, maybe some pumpkin bread of something like that. But I want to try some new stuff this year

hmm I've never really done holiday baking per se. I have a decent peanut butter cookie and chocolate chip cookie recipe though if you'd like either of them? I also have a recipe for brownies from scratch and fruit cobbler that people seem to like? not sure that they would hold until Christmas though

    A really easy recipe...

    Mint Chocolate brownies...

Get you a box of brownie mix(I personally suggest anything with the words double, chocolate, and fudge in the title )
then get a bag of Andes mint chunks, or just regular Andes' mints and crush them up (tip: if your doing it this way it's always a good idea to freeze them a little)

Make up the brownie mix add in the mint chunks, and then bake it for about five minutes less than you normally would, this makes them extra gooey. Very good, but I recommend not eating too many as they can make you sick.

Yum that sounds really good Ein_85!!!

Vickie I'd love your peanut butter cookie and homemade brownie recipes! Brownies is one thing I haven't ever done homemade...I saw how someone made brownies and cut them into christmas trees and then used green icing and decorated them so I was thinking of doing that. Those mint brownies sound awesome but also just some homemade ones do too!
