Jax hasnt slept more than an hr n half at a time in almost week n half, he is super gassy, wants to be held to sleep, held tight all the time, and every night he gets very screamy ig u could say he will randomly scream in pain and has a very hard time feeding, he will latch and start to eat and then gets fussy and unlatch and start screaming..

.. its been very loooong nights and idk what to do his dr says he is jst gassy and that i need to burp him....
...my mil says i need to put whiskey in his bottle  (not happening)

but a friend suggested that i need to take him to a chiropractor so im taking him in to the local one across the street in 2 hrs and she says she will see what she can do! fingers crossed! im running out of ideas i jst feel so bad! :nope:

has anyone had good experiences with this???

have you tried mylicon? it worked wonders for me and jovanni was bf. Are you sure he is getting enough milk? Are you producing enough?

My LO did the same thing and would scream for hours. Turned out after taking him to his stupid doctor 10 times she finally sent me to a specialist and he had a protein sensitivity to cows milk. He wouldnt latch anymore because of everything so I ended up just pumping but took all dairy and soy out of my diet and that did the trick:thumbup:

o yes lol i feel bad cuz it will spray him in the face if he pulls off too fast lol and i am always full except at night cuz his only comfort is to bf and he will jst suck and let the milk run out of his mouth cuz he isnt hungry and will continue to suck, he doesnt like a binkie except during bath time or car rides

my DH is allergic to cows milk, he can eat cheese but straight milk makes him sick, so it wouldnt surprise me so if this dont work we are goin back to drs

Don't have any other input hun, but didn't want to read & run :hugs: I think it's a good possibility he could have a sensitivity to milk ... Hope you find out what it is soon :hugs:

:flow:

I've heard of the chiro helping with reflux and that. I would try taking dairy out of your diet, I think that tends to be a common trigger for upset tummies. Good luck!

well we just got back, they put me on a special diet, and they are strengthening his valve between his large and small intestine, it helped a ton...he was asleep before the procedure was even over she said she could feel alot of trapped gas moving and he has finally fallen into a deep sleep and im off to get foods that i can eat....

which btw sucks! i can only eat chicken, turkey, cheese, plain yogurt, plain pasta and bread... i CAN'T have fruits, chocolate, cinnamon, garlic, onion, tomatoes, rice, broccoli, celery, lettuce, cauilflower, nuts, peppers, or eggs.... ugh o well as long as it makes him better!

:xmas11:no chocolate?

hope it works when quin has bad gas I would bicycle his legs it seemed to help I read in a parenting book somewhere

I hope he gets better and the special diet works for you. My LO used to scream all the time, but when we would breastfeed I can't recall any time where he'd unlatch and just start screaming. He's always had to be burped though ( still does! ) and I would just spend like hours trying to burp him, he'd take FOREVER. Also, I would bicycle his legs too and gently press around his stomach and massage. Poor guy (& poor mama) get better!

we started bicycling his legs last night cuz he was still alil fussy but that helped alot, i have to burp him 3-4 times each feeding and it usually doesnt take him long to burp but its almost like he can never get all the bubbles out :(
Aiden was so easy, feed, he would burp himself, go to sleep and sleep 8-9 hrs straight at night so i got spoiled with my first baby lol

and the diet SUCKS! u cant even have mayo, pickles, ketchup or anything jst plain chicken basically lol
