Last night I dreamed I gave birth and my baby was stillborn. It was so vivid, and awful. I can't even get out of bed I'm so shaken. I've been so sad lately and this dream was beyond horrible. :(

I'm so sorry. :( dreams like that are so terrible. I pray u have a great one next time. Fortunately, bad dreams tend to be about what we fear the most as opposed to what will happen. :hugs:

I've dreamt that too, it was horrible :(

I'm sorry, hon. That sounds awful. I've had some terrifying baby dreams, too. It's just the hormones messing with us - if they're not terrifying dreams, they're weird as hell. It's hard to convince yourself that it's just a dream, though, isn't it?

yeah :( I woke up and I actually had to think about real life vs dream and finally I understood baby was fine. It shook me up so much im now looking to buy a Doppler after I swore I wouldn't.

I'm sorry you had such a bad dream. I've only had one bad one about Peanut so far. You could buy a doppler, but in a couple weeks you wouldn't even use it anymore. I've been feeling her all day everyday for about a week now...and its wonderful!

I wish I could feel mine :( dec 22 is my gender scan, and im hoping that way I feel a bit closer to him/her. I really wanna feel baby already!

You're so close to feeling bub! I felt her here and there from 16-18 weeks, but had to really be paying attention. 19 weeks became more frequent and now at 20 weeks I feel her practically all day every day. Hang in there and you'll start feeling him in no time :)

I had several horrible dreams as well about losing the baby and even one that as soon as it was born DH took it from me. It's just your body's way of releasing the anxiety we have about everything. Seems weird because it sure caused a lot more of it for me! They have gotten much better now though. I was so glad to have my doppler when I had those dreams but mod is right you will feel baby soon. I'm the same, started feeling very faint occasional flutter around 16-18 weeks and at 20 weeks obvious movement. Now at 22 I feel him quit often and love every minute of it. I hope your dreams get better hon!

Thanks :) I thought I felt a flopping feeling not long ago, but I was lying still and I haven't felt it again. it was on the same area where they check me with the Doppler. do you think it was baby?

I totally think that was baby!

im sorry about your dream, but it will probably not stop there, i never had dreams as awful as that, but i did have horrible weird dreams, one of them i dreamt that my baby was born with like 10 fingers on each hand, but only i could see itm, the midwives and everyone there was sayiong how perfect he is, but i was like 'do you not see all these fingers'
i dreamt that he was born with both a vagina and a penis, again only i could see this. there was many others like that, where baby was born with disfigurements and only i could see them, i learnt to laugh them off because, well thats all i could do in all fairness. i hope your dreams become less terrifying, if not, i hope you learn to live with them and stay calm after you do have them.

Ah! I haven't felt the flopping since but that's exciting!

And those sound like awful dreams, its so weird how we all have odd dreams like this. I haven't had any nearly as bad as that one, but some odd ones. Last night I dreamed my mother told me I was obsessed with sex. Weird.

I bet you felt baby too! I don't know about others, but mine gets more active when I rest or stop moving. She also hates it why I lay on my stomach. Lol poor lil girl.
