Horrible Night!

Just need to get this off my chest....

When I got pregnant in april my OH's cousin also got pregnant. I lost mine in may and she remained pregnant. She was due December 1st. On Saturday she had told us that she had not felt the baby move in over a week. She had a Doctors appt and they told her the heartbeat was strong and she was measuring out just fine. Well yesterday when she left work she called the ER and they told her to come in so that they could do a Ultra sound/. I found out last night that she lost the baby I cant not get over how something like this can happen. I know losing a baby early on is HORRIBLE but I cant even believe what it would be like to have this happen so far along. Just needed to share this as my OH doesn't really understand and I don't expect him to. Makes me Kind of scared you know.

That is so sad!!! My heart goes out to her. I also know how you're feeling about it being scary. I had a MC in April also and another one in August. They are heart breaking (no matter what stage) and it makes me so scared/worried about getting pregnant again that I won't be able to enjoy it.

Do they have any explanation as to why she lost the baby?

Not yet. From what I read they may never know what happened. They say that a lot of still births go unexplained.

I'm so sorry, that's just horrible. These kind of stories make me not want to even try for a baby.

That is tragic and my heart aches for her. It will get better for her with time and support from friends and family. I know there isn't a lot I can say to reassure you that this won't happen to you or to anyone (even me!). I guess all I can say is that we can't live our lives in fear. We have to stay positive and stay in the moment and enjoy everything that life brings. I hope this doesn't deter you from having a baby. Everything will work out well for you and for all of us here.
