Horrible pain after standing.

I have been very sick with this pregnancy and so have been taking it easy. I am laying out a lot because of dizziness... but this evening I got up from the couch and felt this sticking pain in the back of my knee... like a needle was poking into it or some kind of bug was stinging me. I took of my pants thinking it might be something stuck in the fabric, only to find there was nothing there.

I can't straighten my leg out, it starts off as a sharp needle like pain and then spreads up my thigh and down my leg.

I know leg cramps are common during pregnancy but is that what this is? I am prone to charlie horses which feel totally different. This actually literally feels like a needle or bee stinging before becoming so painful that I have to re-bend my knee or burst out into tears.

Oh no sounds painful, I would give the doc a call just to reassure yourself.
