:nope::nope:

I can safely say that infant gaviscon isn't doing enough...we've just been out for lunch, where my poor Ally brought up two thickened feeds...and through her nose, too. Ended up leaving swiftly, as she was just crying in pain so much :nope::nope: just had another bf, and she's now napping...but more from exhaustion than anything else...

I feel awful, as I ate Parmesan and some dark bounty by mistake, when I'd been cutting out dairy...although that doesnt seem to do much? :shrug: could it be my decaf organic tea?

I don't know, I feel awful for Ally, awful for Lizzie...back to the docs on Thurs, and am going to be begging for something more effective.

Sorry, this doesn't make much sense, I just needed to splurge...x

:hugs: Poor little baby :( What about normal gaviscon instead of the infant kind? Thats what the doctor prescribed for Maria's reflux.

Really? I just want to take her pain away :( I will ask the docs about normal gav, I am building a portfolio of questions!!

Thank you :hugs: how long was Maria refluxy?

:hugs:

I very much doubt it is what you are eating/drinking. You are being so careful and couldn't cut out more food/drink if you tried. You'll just be having water and bread before long otherwise ;)

Seriously though, I'm sure it's the reflux. I hope the doctor is helpful and can offer Ally something else that will help.xxxx

She wasn't refluxy for very long. Didn't actually give the gaviscon more than a few days because she seemed to be outgrowing it already by the time we saw the doctor. She pretty much never throws up now.

And the proper gaviscon should actually take the pain away unlike the infant one.

That sounds good...I have a feeling I may cry when the doctor asks how she is, her little sad face today was awful to see :(

:hugs:
I know what it's like and it is horrid :(
When I gave up the dairy it took three weeks for me to notice any improvement at all, then there was a real improvement, and that was before we started proper medicine. I will never know if it was the dairy or not but I was too scared to reintroduce it! We got omeprazole, infant gaviscon didn't do it for us at all. I didn't realise how well it worked actually until this past week when we ran out so I decided to try George without it and he really seems to have gone backwards, so I will be on the phone first thin to get another prescription and we'll keep going with it at least until he is weaned. I think you are doing a wonderful job with your girls and when you see them start to interact and play together all this will seem like a distant memory :hugs:
