Hi ladies,

Just wondering what bags you ladies are taking to hospital with you?
I've been keeping an eye out for one everytime I go to town etc. But nothing's caught my eye, and I keep thinking it won't be big enough haha!!

Wonder if I could get away with taking a small suitcase lol! xx

The bag I was going to use for me is now LO's bag, and I have got a small suitcase!

Lol I think this may be the case with me. I've started making a list so I know what I need to buy!
It's just fitting the dressing gown in, I may wear it to the hospital lol! xx

thts my plan with my dressin gown either tht or ill just hook it over my bag so its there if i need it lol

I bought a holdhall and small bag set from Argos. I was planning to use the smaller bag for baby and bigger one for me, but that's not working out due to the baby's things overflowing! So I am going to use the small one for our toiletries and the big one for our clothes/my support pillow.

There's a good thread in the stickies section about what you could take to hospital with you. My list is on there.

I still haven't packed my bags yet, though, as I hate doing half a job!

I've got 2 bags.. One for me and one for LO because the one I had just didn't fit everything in so I brought a little pink holdall from JJB for LO's bits. I managed to get my dressing gown in my bag by rolling it like a sausage and I had to do the same with my towel aswell lol. Although I'm sure it'll need re-arranging before the time comes haha x

Thanks to the advice from the lovely ladies on here, I have a little case. I've been meaning to buy a cabin size one. It was only £26 or so from ebay.

It is 19" - 28 litres. Now i've started to pack it, I'm getting concerned its a little small - lol I will have quite a large change bag for baby too.

xx

I just used a holdall for my stuff that we already had, and I've used the changing bag for babies stuff.
I didn't see the point in buying new bags specifically for this when the holdall we already had does just as good a job and the changing bag fits all the basics in for baby. If more is needed hubs will just have to bring it in, which will be the case anyway should we end up staying in for longer than a day or so

i have holdall for my stuff changing bag for babies toiletries and and small bag for babies clothes

i have to start packing this week, i am being induced so will be in for a while !!

ive always used a suitcase the littlest one out of the 3 but mine is bigger than average.x

im gunna take a small suitcase
its a childs whinnie the pooh stay over thing (the whinne the pooh is only tiny and on the corner) so im not too fussed, i just hope i can fit everything in as its quite small !

Just using a small suitcase. A while ago I got a good deal on a set of nested rolling suitcases (they all fit inside each other) and then we bought an even smaller one that fits inside the smallest one from the set...not sure if I'll use the smallest or the next smallest or what. The packages of maternity pads alone seem pretty large and they recommend what, 4 packages? Yeah, that's half the suitcase right there! I still need to get several sort of essential things for my bag. I haven't even started yet, just in mental planning stage.
I ought to have a deadline to at least HAVE all the things I want to go in there. Hmm.

I have got one of those pully along ones for me and a small holdall for the baby which i already had

Mine's a bit like this:

Baby's stuff is in the changing bag and daddy has his own backpack too!

I wanted a small baggage set from Argos but they are all sold out, so I will be using babys changing bag for babys things and im on the lookout for a holdall/small suitcase for me. Hopefully I wont be in that long!

I have a pink holdall, the smaller type ones, with big old side pockets for sanitry towels and breastpads and mine and LO's stuff fits in that, and a backpack with some food and my dressing gown x

I got a pink stripey set from argos its a holdall and a flight bag I'm iusing tje flight bag for labour and the holdall on wheels for after

I'm just using two bigger bags that I got from Primark ages ago. Primark often has bigger bags in it. Everything I need fits in nicely with some room left :) xx

I got a baby changing bag for baby and a maternity bag for me off one of the Ebay best-seller shops. The bag was quite expensive but it's big enough for everything I'm planning on taking haha.
