    I was about to say the same! It really annoys me because i am only 19 myself but im really not as stupid as these girls and hate to think what others think about me because of girls like that.

    I wish i could of gone on a program like this when i was pregnant to prove that all young mums are not the same!!

    I know!
    I was a teen mum and wasn't like that.
    The girl Lisa is making me angry.
    Smoking and thinking she knows better.
    Now she won't have the injections to thin her blood!
    I had them last pregnancy and they are so important. Grrrr.

    I know, its like everything though, fat people (like me) are generally thought of as lazy, food scoffing, attached to the sofa!!!, So I know what its like to be thought of like that!!!

    But the teens on the programme are just WTF!!!

    (BTW I just thought I'd say that I do have my own opinon on teen pregnancy...and also maybe a theory as well, but I dont believe that all teen mums are like that....so please dont have a go at me lol )

    Some of those girls on there are an actual joke ...

    The girl who is refusing to be injected for her and her baby's health yet has a bloody great piercing in her face. Behave!!

    I had my head screwed on at 18 when I fell pregnant.
    He wasn't planned but me and hubby knew we had to put baby first.
    Big shock,yes,my friends were going out to clubs and I was at home with my head down the loo.

    Its painting all girls as idiots and and selfish and we aren't.

    Oooh quick question ladies! what do you consider a 'teen pregnancy'?
    I suppose for me 18 and under is what I would class as teen pregnancy?

    Anyone else?

    Yeah i guess i think the same, 18 and under. I fell pregnant at 18 and had my baby at 19 but people still call me a teen mum and i still had a teenage mum midwife!

    But the show isn't exactly helping, only showing one side of the story!!!

    When I had my eldest (I am now 32) I was 18 and my consultant said he considered 19 and under.
    He was great and treated me as an equal.
    One of the MW's however saw me(I have always looked younger than I am) and talked down to me,told me I wouldn't know what would hit me etc

    Basically a cow.
    I was too quiet and scared to give her a piece of my mind but my consultant cut her short in front of me :)

    He said not all teen mums are what you see in the papers etc
    And it isn't fair to paint us all the same :)

    He was great!

    Im sure they do come across a few teen mums who are clued up and are mature about it but they probably wont show them ones!!!

    Why not show other side of the coin too,the teen mums who do well and have their act together?!
