Hot Water Bottles

Just wondering if anyone else has used them during the 2ww and gone on to have a sucessful and healthy pregnancy?

I don't think it's a good idea because of the temperature... I love my hot water bottles but don't have one now in the 2ww...

I've got a little microwavable thing I use sometimes cos it's warm, but it gets nowhere near as hot as a hot water bottle

Reason I am asking is that the two times I have got pregnant have only been on months that I have used a hot water bottle for cramps during 2ww. However, both ended in m/c. Just wondering if the heat could be helping implantation so therefore a good thing. Or could this be what has caused m/c's because of heat. But at this stage we wouldn't even have amniotic fluids which I know should not get too hot during pregnancy. And then egg would only be the size of a grain of salt and the heat would have to get all the way through skin/fat/muscle so not even sure if it would cause any damage at this point.

Do you think it's just coincidence that I've got preg both times and had m/c both times when using hot water bottles?

OMG I'm completely paniking now!! Maybe I have been causing M/C's by using hot water bottle!!!??!!

Just been reading on internet about using them with IVF (not that I am going through that) but it says safe to use before embryo transfer but not afterwards!!! I'm only 6DPO but I'm so worried now!! Then again I might not even be preg!! This is ridiculous!!

Any people who can reassure me who HAVE used hot water bottles and been fine?

Before TTC i found that hot water bottles at a certain temperature gave me period like cramps

When I use the bottle the cramps go away I won't be using one anymore though cause I've scared myself now

I wouldnt worry too much about it. IVF is different then naturally conceiving. i truly believe it was a coincidence of the MCs. That being said, you are only 6 DPO...you have nothing to worry about if you have used a hot water bottle....just stay away from it from here on out =)

Thanks yeah I'm definately not going to use it anymore, I'll just stick out the cramps from here haha!
