housing benefit in the highlands

i put claim in for housing benefit and council tax on wednesday 15th of april and took tenancy and gave all id etc for me and my partner she copied them all and was just wondering how long before i should hear something she also mentioned that a form would get sent to landlord to sign and confirm i live at the address how long should it take before we get sorted

No idea hun, but my maternity took 6 weeks to come through. I'd say if you've not heard anything after 3 weeks then give them a ring.

our housing benefit took 2 months to sort out. Just cos of a backlog with loads of claims. We are in Tayside though.
