When I got pregnant with my daughter I was so shocked I just called my husband and told him. Afterwards, I wished I had done it in a more special way. He's wanted another child for years, but we just started trying in Mar. If we get our BFP I'm going to fill our apartment with baby blue balloons, streamers and "It's A Boy" signs (he wants a boy). I really want it to be a memory to look back on.

How are you ladies planning on telling your significant others?

I made sure my husband was with me and we looked at the test together.

Ha... when I got my bfp in Feb DH had been sleeping on the sofa because I'd been poorly and he didn't want to catch it... our bathroom was downstairs and had to go throuhg living room and kitchen to get to it...

Anyway, I did the test and was sat on the loo when it came up... I kinda stared at it for a minute and then quickly finished on the loo and properly sprinted through to the living room and like roughly shook DH awak and was shouting "PLEASE TELL ME YOU SEE A LINE TOO!!! I'M NOT IMAGINING IT AM I?!?!?!"

He was just like... "Wha..." then fell back to sleep -.- lol. Men!

XxX

I must admit I haven't really thought about this at all as not yet had a BFP. But I would probably tell him face to face, ie if I got the BFP whilst at home on my own I would aim to wait for him to come home (whether I do manage this remains to be seen!) x
