I had a scan today, and I think baby is huge! but nobody seemed to mind. His weight is 3.4kg or 7lb 8oz... and I'm 37 weeks

im not sure as im a first timer, but id say that was quite big and very good. u may meet your baby sooner than u think x

Seems pretty normal to me hun, he'll put on no more than 1/2lb a week from now so still not overly huge! x

Dont think its too bad hun, my LO was weighing about 6lb2oz at 35 weeks. Dont forget it is only an estimate and could be a bit out xxx

I does sound a LITTLE big, my son was born at 38+3 and was 7lb 10oz. But Likle the other lady said he prob want put on much more weight.. Godd luck healthy baby for sure hehehe

Sounds perfect, a good size 9lber if they were spot on (but these things aren't very accurate weight wise, they're much better at normal growth determination than weight estimation) and baby put on the exact weekly average.

Anything between 6lbs 2oz and 9lbs 2oz at term is considered normal (was reading a pregnancy mag in hospital today!!) So he is bang on really, but on the bigger side. then again the estimates are not accurate either, so baby could be smaller (or even bigger lol)

Adding on half a pound a week to my baby's current weight (3lbs 5oz) he is on course to be 8-9 lbs :)

That's a perfectly normal size but remember even growth scans aren't always accurate. They can be out by a whole pound.

I was told 2lbs and also the bigger the baby the bigger the margin of error too!!

My one is on the 82nd percentile, and should be around 8lb 8oz when born...that'll chaffe a bit..
