I've just turned 36weeks, and I'm feeling like the bottom of my bump is REALLY heavy - I can barely sit comfortably as it feels like my vagina area (the area where you usually get period pains) is about to burst.

Been getting it since this morning...started off like a dull ache - like a period pain - and now it's progressed into the bursting feeling. As if my muscles are strained. My hips and lower back are feeling the pressure too...they have started to ache aswel - and now my SPD seems to be getting worse!

Could baby have moved down? I'm feeling very uncomfortable. :nope:

I think it is all related to the spd hun! My lady bits have been swollen and puffy for weeks, and the pressure I have in my lower bac is much like a pushing pressure but without the urge it's awful, BUT baby isn't even engaged yet, so don't know why it just suddenly alot worse, I'm thinking maybe just sheer weight of baby!

Does your support belt help at all, I know mine doesn't cos my bump so low i can't fit it in right place so end up causing more pain.

BUT when and if you find a solution let me in on it!

I know exactly how you feel I've had it for a while now but it's got worse, I feel like I have so much pressure there I'm just going to explode and I'm also swollen on my bits too :( It is very uncomfortable but midwife told me baby was 2/5 engaged so I imagine that's why I'm feeling this way and maybe your baby is heading that way too. I don't know any ways to relieve it really either

I completely forgot about trying to use my support belt! Thanks for reminding me. I haven't used it since I've stopped going out, (SPD has officially imprisoned me) and I will try and wear it right now and see if it helps ease this discomfort. I can barely walk at the moment.

Im feeling the same way since last week & was told on monday that my baby is engaged so its prob down to that hun (she said it normally happens from around 36wks so was surprised that mine was engaged so early) xx
