As tittle says really, and also when did you tell family? xx

Well last time, my mum heard me on the phone to the doctor and the cat was out the bag, i was 4 weeks just and no one was particulalriy supportive, i wish they hadnt found out as i lost Max at 13 weeks, this time i wont tell people till around about 16 weeks, best to wait i think as you never know when things can go worng x

I told my mum as soon as I missed my period, and said I had a faint positive. I basically told them really early on as I thought if I miscarried atleast I'd have thier support. I told my dad on the phone, kind of funny. I just said Dad, do you want the good or bad news. He said good and I said, you're going to be a grandad! He asked for bad and I said you're going to be a grandad! lol! Bless, he said that wasn't bad news, I told him he has to get out his slippers and pipe now, he's getting old lol!!!
Everyone was totally supportive :)

i live away from my family so i told them on thev phone, but i still told them the day i found out and thanks to my mother being excited and on facebook when i told her every one knew within minutes lol...bless her she like a kid at christmas :)

We still haven't told our parents. I'm almost 11 weeks along & we decided we will tell them on Grandparents Day, which is Sept. 13. His folks live nearby but mine live in Florida. We decided we're going to send them each Edible Arrangements that have cards saying Happy Grandparents Day, along with the due date & a copy of the sonogram picture. Once they know we are going to make the official announcement on Facebook (how sad is it that Facebook is the quickest way to tell something to everyone you know?)

A few people know, but they're sworn to secrecy. We've got just about a week left! Oh man. It's dragging.

We told my parents last night, it was great seeing their faces, especially my sisters as they're so excited! We had dinner then told them during dessert. We're telling my hubbys family at the weekend.

Well I was at my parents house visiting. I told my mother to give me money for a pregnancy test because I was 10 days late. I honestly thought it would come up negative. But I peed on the stick and walked into the kitchen and handed it to my mother, it was positive. She started screaming and crying in happiness and my dad was in the living room so I am sure he heared lol. As for DF family we sat his mother and fauther down in the living room and told them that we were going to have a baby :).

I told my Mum the day after I found out. She's my best pal and the most supportive person in the world. (She told step-dad soon after)
We told DFs parents and our siblings a couple of weeks later, then best friends and employers.
That was meant to be it until after 12 weeks but DF got carried away and told his lot at work, and his friends from uni. Best friends told their parents, who told their friends at a bbq a couple of weeks ago.
DOH.

But if I have it my way (which I should, after the tantrum I had over too many people knowing too soon!), nobody else will find out for another 2 or 3 weeks. Basically, when I have my 12 week scan, I will find a way of letting my family know. But I would like to try and keep it off facebook til 16 weeks but thats nigh on impossible these days.

I went out and bought 2 little newborn t-shirts, each saying something about 'granny' and 'grandad' on them, and got my older kids to pass them over! I tol them as soon as i found out!

Well I told my mum on her birthday. We had a private scan a couple of days before when we were just over 8 weeks.
I made a card that said happy birthday nanny love tinker bun (our nickname for bubba) then put the scan pics inside. Her and my dad were both very happy and are some excited for their first grandchild.
My sister im buying these bibs that say I love my aunty and my aunty is the best and see how long it takes her.

We told hubbys parents just by saying do you want to see
Our new photos and showing the scan pics.

I too would like to keep it off of Facebook for a while and would like to have told all family and close friends first. I can't wait to start telling everyone :) x
